My experiences with Turkish cafes have not been the best. There was one in Old Town I went to a while back, it tasted horrible and the noise gave me a headache. Today though I went to another one closer to me. It was across the street from Layla's (where we had lunch) and by the lake. I had geeen tea and shared honey cake ++ rasberry mousse cake ++ sebastion cheesecake. It was so good I ate the most food I've had in a long time. Although I did purge it all when I got home. I probably shouldn't have started with this because it's the last thing that happened before I went home and rested the remainder of the day. So I'll just start now. Today really hasn't been that busy, didn't even see my friends or talk to them much. Before my aunt and 2yo cousin went home we had lunch with my little sister. We brought a nachos Lunchable, cinnabun cookie, and a caramel Nosa yogurt she didn't eat. I ran into my third grade teacher and ms.C there luckily. Laura was also on the verge of tears and begged me for a hug. Made me promise to make sure her and my little sister have a playdate soon. She's super clingy with me, like my little brother but 10x worse. Love her though. It was raining a lot today so the walk back from my sisters elementary was unpleasant. Afterwards me mom dad and my 4yo brother went to Layla's. I'd never been there but was not dissapointed. I had chicken shwarma sandwhich and some of the pickled radishes we got on the side ((came with the dish of pickles we ordered for my little brother)). Again of course I purged all I could of it but still it was good. I'm hoping to go to the Turkish place by it with my friends for our Friday hangout this week.
